Crescent Aspen Notes (Canvas Wrap)

Crescent Aspen Notes is part of a  series where Michele used sheet music to create tree trunks. It all started with a stack of 1940's sheet music from an estate sale.  She cut, painted and pieced the sheet music to resemble trunks.  The black and white leant itself quite well to aspen and birch trees. You can almost hear the aspens singing as the autumn winds blow through the leaves and branches. Silver colored raised metal is applied to the mountain peaks as the embellishment.  *Brian

Singing Aspen Notes is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process.  The metal is antiqued and a coat of varnish is applied.  This added dimension makes it look like the original but at a fraction of the cost. Printed on a ready to hang 1.5" deep canvas, the edges are gallery wrapped in black so there's no need to frame!

Due to the handcrafted nature of this artwork, each piece may have subtle differences.
