Nebraska Full Moon (photo print)

The original Nebraska Full Moon was painted on a road map of the state of Nebraska. l used acrylic paints thinned with water to allow the map to show through. With each new map painting I have to decide on a landscape that is a iconic dreamlike version of that state. Since Nebraska is so much a part of the Great Plains I can think of nothing more iconic than the sculptural vision of an old windmill standing watch over the prairie. The full moon intensifies those feelings of nostalgia and memories of a place in time. * Brian
