Colorado Slate Map (photo print)

The original Colorado Slate Map is one of my newer Colorado map paintings utilizing a different, less detailed map than previous ones.  I liked the emphasis on the "Rocky Mountains" cutting diagonally through the piece.  I also liked the larger font of the major cities and ski areas.  Unfortunately several ski towns weren't on the original map so I had to add them to the map before I painted over it.  Breckenridge,  Winter Park and Crested Butte had to be added so I figured out the font size and style and printed and pasted it on the original map before painting.  Michele encouraged me to render this one in more muted colors than the first two and it quickly became the best selling Colorado map painting.  If I'm smart I listen to Michele. * Brian

Because this is a print, this product does not have the raised dimensional metal (it is a photo of the metal).

The print ships rolled up in a clear plastic bag secured with rubber bands inside a  mailing tube. This is a standard sized print so it's easy to find a frame that will work well with the piece and your decor.
