Silver Mountains (photo print)

The original Silver Mountains  was created with a background entirely made with imitation silver leaf.  The ground below the mountains was textured first and the sky has the texture of the canvas weave peeking through it.  The clouds and the water feature under the mountains were rendered using acid oxidized copper paint to make it patina. I knew when I did the acid over the aluminum leaf it would eat away some of the metal so I painted it the background black and it comes through in spots reminiscent of an antique mirror. * Brian

Because this is a print, this product does not have the raised dimensional metal (it is a photo of the metal).

The print ships rolled up in a clear plastic bag secured with rubber bands inside a  mailing tube. This is a standard sized print so it's easy to find a frame that will work well with the piece and your decor.
