Five Aspen Notes At Midnight is part of a  series where Michele used sheet music to create tree trunks. It all started with a stack of 1940's sheet music from an estate sale.  She cut, painted and pieced the sheet music to resemble trunks.  The black and white leant itself quite well to aspen and birch trees.  Silver colored raised metal is applied at the horizon line as the embellishment.  *Brian

Five Aspen Notes At Midnight is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process. This added dimension makes it look like the original but at a fraction of the cost. Printed on a ready to hang 1.5" deep canvas, the edges are gallery wrapped in black so there's no need to frame!
