Florida New World Mariner's Star (canvas wrap)

The Original Florida New World Mariner's Star was painted over a Florida road map using acrylic paints thinned with water to make washes that were applied in thin layers over the map to allow the place names to show through. This is one of the most popular of my eight Florida map paintings. Raised gold metal is used around the mariner's star to make a compass rose. It is also used to embellish at the dividing line between the sky and water. It is available in 2 sizes. *Brian

Florida New World Mariner's Star is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process. This added dimension makes it look like the original but at a fraction of the cost. Printed on a ready to hang 1.5" deep canvas, the edges are gallery wrapped in black so there's no need to frame!
