Triangle Tree (photo print)

The inspiration for Triangle Tree came from those lonely single trees that seem to carve out a space for themselves separated from their peers.  I always wonder how they got there.  Did someone plant them on a whim or did they just have the right conditions at the right time to be able to grow in a place where no others were able to find purchase.  It's a whimsical piece with that mysterious beginning.  It was created with gray acrylic washes for the background and yellow acrylics for the leaves.  The tree trunk was rendered with a graphite pencil. *Michele
