Sunset Reflections (canvas wrap)

Sunset Reflections looks similar to one of my Minnesota map paintings for a reason. When Michele saw the completed MN map painting she encouraged me to do this one without a map and in a horizontal orientation. I choose a distant passage through the trees of this lake scene to lead the viewer deeper into the painting. The muted colors and blurred images remind me of the many times I've spent on the water just after the sun goes down, everything becomes still waiting for the approach of darkness. Silver raised metal is applied to the water line in silver. *Brian

Sunset Reflections  is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process. This added dimension makes it look like the original but at a fraction of the cost. Printed on a ready to hang 1.5" deep canvas, the edges are gallery wrapped in black so there's no need to frame!
